Dr. Daniela Goldman

Dr. Daniela Goldman

Dr. Daniela Goldman

is a General Practitioner and co-owner of Millwood Animal Hospital with her husband Dr. Jeremy Tubbs since June of 2011.

Dr. Goldman says that she has wanted to be a veterinarian since she was a young girl growing up in New York City and caring for her family’s four dogs. Adding to her desire was time spent riding horses competitively and spending summers working on a horse farm training and taking care of the horses. Now that she is a veterinarian, she says she gains great satisfaction from seeing a patient’s health improve as well as being able to successfully take on a challenging case.

For her undergraduate studies, Dr. Goldman attended Skidmore College where she was a member of the Intercollegiate Equestrian Team. She received a Bachelor of Science in Business in 2000. Dr. Goldman then worked on Wall Street, but found the tug of becoming a veterinarian too much to ignore. In 2001, she enrolled in New York University to complete her post-baccalaureate degree for veterinary school and then enrolled in Ross University’s School of Veterinary Medicine. During veterinary school she received the University’s Large Animal Surgery Award. Dr. Goldman received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2007.

Her areas of special professional interest include oncology and internal medicine. Dr. Goldman is also a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the New York State Veterinary Medical Society. Additionally, she has worked as a volunteer with Earthwatch in Kenya to research Black Rhinos, and participated in a veterinary wildlife course in South Africa.

Dr. Goldman and her husband Dr. Jeremy Tubbs are the proud parents of three boys, Eli, Nathaniel, and Seth. Her pets include a mixed breed named Chewy, a Border Collie named Shadow, and two cats named Hanna and Teddy. Interests include working out, travel, horseback riding, running and spending time with her family.
