Amy joined Millwood Animal Hospital in September 2019 as a veterinary assistant/receptionist. She is a dedicated veterinary assistant with over 20 years of experience in the field. She holds a B.S. in Biology from SUNY Purchase and a B.A. in Arts Administration from the University of Scranton. Amy has a strong focus in veterinary surgery, particularly orthopaedics, and has conducted three years of research using electron microscopy to study the morphology of feline chronic renal disease. Outside of her professional life, Amy enjoys hiking, photography, and playing her viola, and she loves spending time in her garden with her two dogs, Riesling the dachshund and Zola the hound, along with her cat, Atticus.
